An angel of the Lord told Joseph that Mary would bring forth a son and call his name Jesus, which is Emmanuel, God with us. Isaiah 9:6 wrote he was “the mighty God, the everlasting Father” Abraham called him “the everlasting God”. Jeremiah worshipped him as “the eternal king”. In Revelation Jesus said, he was the Alpha & Omega, the beginning the ending. He was the God that created the heaven, lives forever and forever. I Chronicles 17:24, His name will be magnified forever. This mighty God, everlasting father, king eternal, creator of the universe, came to earth at Bethlehem and for thirty three years walked in human flesh, was crucified, buried, resurrected, was Jesus Christ. John wrote, “the word was made flesh and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father. He was in the world and the world was made by him. |
